Im guessing you meant an in-dash lcd that you pulled out and put the stock radio back in. Did you use a wiring harness adapter from the stock radio plug? If so, it almost safe to assume the stock harness was getting power. You mentioned the radio doesnt work but you checked the stock amp. Does this mean the radio is getting power? If not, then the stock amp is farther down the line and at this point, is of no concern. If the radio is not lighting up then I would recommend unplugging the stock radio harness from the radio and use a test light to figure out if power is actually getting to the plug. Dont forget to check for both a constant and a switched hot. If you find more than one constant or switched hot, make sure to note how bright the bulb is because that will let me know if you tested some other wire than a 12v line. For example, you may find one of the wires test hot but it could actually be the dimmer switch wire. When you find a hot wire, switched or constant, play with the dimmer and see if the intensity of the bulb in the test light changes at all. This will let us know. gl

Also, I forgot if the radio itself has a fuse. You made mention of checking the radio fuse but I would assume this was at the fusebox. It is highly unlikely that both of the fuses on the back of the radio could be out, but I just wanted to be as thorough as possible. : o)
