I just got this 92 es 300. radio no go. it's the cd changer controller head unit but won't power up. not sure if this is the original one with this car or not. Is there a code for these (has auto theft system)???? I pulled it and the therm controller out and located the power plug for the a/c controller, but not one for the stereo. is it the same? Anything would help.... Thanks !!!!

yeah, i checked the fuses already, all look fine. i was thinking maybe there was a code or something to enter....might have to just get it checked out....thanks,

not completely sure of what you're talking about... but i'll provide two answers.

yes our stereo's do have security codes that you're supposed to enter when you remove them.

also... theres an amplifier under the passenger seat... i'm not sure if your stereo is cutting on at all, but if it is and you're getting no sound... that's the problem. When I sold my ES... I had gotten it wet shampooing the carpet... and I had to replace it with a spare I had because I was getting absolutely no sound.
