Death of Lexus ES300
#17
i got a straight trade from some kid for my 98 gs400 with 87,000 miles. He gave me his 2002 es300 black on black with 56k miles and i think i won. Not only is the car worth more money... its ALOT more comfortable and responsive when it comes to handling on stock suspension...it sticks to the road really nicely and the interior is just a pleasure to be in.... roomy and very very comfortable..... the woodgrain steering wheel is real nice as well. The exterior could be better, sometimes i just stare at it and it really doesnt look bad. I think there are a few people here that are used to the old es but havent given the new model a chance to grow on them. (kinda like the 3rd generation gs people felt about the new one....now that the mods are out and people are actually hooking the cars up with all types of beautiful things they are finally being accepted.) i think if the gs had the new es interior i would live in there. We have to learn how to accept change.....take this es for example, i wouldnt have any objections when it came to driving this car.......how bout you guys? (thanks to gato for showing me this pic.)
