Default 1st winter w/out 4WD

It's my 1 winter w/out 4WD. I traded in my RX300 for the ES330 and now I'm regretting it! Do I need snow tires for the ES330? Should I add some weight to my trunk, like sand bags, the way I used to before the days of SUVs? I feel like this car is so light on snow covered roads! Any advise to get me through the long, cold, snowy winter ahead?

You need snow tires for anything you're driving in the snow.

FRONT WHEEL DRIVE.
I feel like this car is so light on snow covered roads!
The powersteering takes little effort, is progressive & you don't have snow tires.

Default snow tires are the key

i run the dunlop m3 winter sport tire on my stock wheels for the winter.
we just ended 4 days of snow and subzero weather here in colorado springs, and ive had zero problem with traction. the other night there was a full tilt blizzard in colorado, i was the only car on the rd..the rest were hummers and full size suv's...again with zero problems. So yeah go get some snow tires. My buddy and i both got the dunlops...he drives a stage 3-? dodge srt and has also had great luck with them.

Snow tires are great. The only advantage big SUVs have after that would be fround clearance...

And if that's an issue, generally you shouldn't be out in an ES anyway... heheh
