My 00' ES had the low and high setting. The High came close to burning my a$$. Now on my 03' GS430, there is only one setting and its about a medium heat. Sometimes I wish it was hotter. Maybe there is a way to adjust?

The seat warmers in my 00ES get so hot on the high setting it feels like sitting on a stove top I can only stand it on low for so long as that gets quite hot also. Chix who don't wear underwear dig it

As I understand it, the '00-'01 ES has the high/low settings for the seat heaters, while the '97-'99 ES has only one setting. Ironically, most people who report problems with their heated seats (i.e. used to work but not anymore) own a '97-'99 ES, and I've never heard of similar problems with the '00-'01 ES. I'm almost positive Lexus is aware of the common problem with the heated seats, so if you bring that issue up when you go in for service, they might be able to listen to you and give you some kind of deal in getting the heated seats fixed.
