Pheonix said the headgasket is bad on the 3vzfe. I dont think so. I believe what has happened on the interweb [haha] is the truck engine has been confused with the car engine. The truck engine is the one with the notorious head gasket problem. The lexus/toyota 3vz-fe only has head gasket problem if the car over heats, which is indemic to aluminum head-iron block design. It's the pretty much same thing though with an al-block al-head, but not as much an issue with iron block iron heads. I'm shortening this by talking like, but I want to clarify that the head gasket doesn't just go bad on a 3vz-fe.

As a suggestion, you should contact Paul woods from Woodsport. He does mr2 v6 swaps and is well known for it.
