Your ES300 is a "gussied up" camry How do you all react to this?
How does everyone react when they encounter this?
Usually I'll just reply with "Jealous is a *****"

my way... tell them "hey look, do you see a toyota emblem on my trunk? do you see a camry tag? i don't think so. so you go on thinkin what you want. i know this ain't no cheap camry." just my way. or sometimes i just look at them... and then just sorta walk away without saying a thing. and make them wonder.

Cool cool. I use JD Power ranking and Lexus Sales Figures to win my arguments.
What sparked this was I'm literally sick and tired of the JEALOUSLY of these damn haters.
My mom has a 92 ES300 and they were razzin her at work saying ya ya your just driving a camry, my son is a mechanic, blah blah..
She called me at home looking for some ammo
Oh boy did I give her some, now they look at Lexus with RESPECT

haha. well we're a whole lexus family. so if they wanna bring up camry's... a pair of decked out ES300's will show them up. both pearl white, both gold package. dang they look nice when they're clean.

I've ran across quite alot of haters!
I find the best thing to do is simply say, "What do you drive?"
Usually, there driving a Ford Tempo or some POS

I also get pissed at first it funny then it gets annoying but i dont care camrys are one of the best cars on the road. But its true some days it bothers me more than others.

What I usually do is tell them what IS NOT different on the I-30/Maxima, TL/Accord and then I say what is different from the ES/Camry.
Most people like that KNOW if they could afford an ES 300 they would get one instead of calling it a Camry.
And not saying the Camry is a bad call, much the opposite.

haha...i usually get it from my friends...but then i get mean about it and say...How the heck would you know, buddy? I dont see you rollin up in a Lexus ES3...dont be hatin cuz you only drive an ugly *whatever car they drive*

i dont encounter this, but i would prob say, ok look at what ur driving, a POS. meanwhile im the one rocking a $45 thou lex. i bet most of the people that do this to u guys are like rice burners or even stock civics and other ****s.

Get this my 49 year old mother called me from work today, totally upset people where insulting her "Lexus" a group of them were like your car is just a camry, my son is a mechanic blah blah blah so she called me and asked what to reply with.
