I heard Lexus changed to a straight 5K mile service interval rather than the "7.5K or 5K based on driving conditions" interval previously. And that the cabin A/C filter is now scheduled to be replaced at 30K miles (and cleaned at 15K miles) rather than the 7.5K mile replacement interval previously. Just curious if you actually see these changes in your owners/service manual

That's what they went to years back. Not that any descent synthetic couldn't do the old 10 month / 7500 mile changes at a drop of a hat, provided you don't qualify for schedule A. A lot of dino oils could probably pass an analysis at 7500, but it'd be pushing it if you wern't a perfect schedule B.


The optional hepa cabin filter has always been a 30,000 mile unit going back to the early 90's when it became one of the never talked about options.
