25mpg is not bad at all.. do you use any of those STP stuff to imporve your gas??. any recommandation would be good.

My tank is 1 gallon less than the ES and don't get as good as mileage from a 1MZ-FE V6 auto. You should be getting at least 400 miles to one tank using cruise at that speed you posted with your 18.5 gallon total tank.
For many years, the ES has provided the best mileage out of all Lexus vehicles (well, that may change when the hybrid RX comes out soon)

22 mpg is exactly what I get on driving on highway for my 92 ES300. A local mechanic almost convinced me to get my intake air tube changed becuase it has duck tape on it, thats the condition it came from the previous owner. He was claiming that changing this intake tube will give me an awefully high average but after reading the comments and posts of other members for 92-93 es300 owners I think 22 is the best it can get whether I spend on that intake pipe or not.

I have 2005 es with 5000 miles on it. I get 21 mpg city & highway. On a trip to Florida I drove 3000 miles, avg. was 25.4 mpg. 65% was 80 miles per hour, the rest was 70 and city driving. I used regular except for 2 tanks. Some brands of gas was not so good while other brands mileage was great. Locally, Mobile gets me the best!

I went from 24 to 26mpg on my '93 by adding 3.5 oz of acetone per 10 gallons of fuel. You'll have to find your own ratio. Should be between 2 and 5 oz of fuel, per 10 gallons of gas.
In a low concentration (as above), will simply reduce the surface tension of the fuel, allowing it to flow slightly better, but mainly it will atomize better when sprayed through the fuel injectors.
Acetone in high concentrations raises the octane. The higher the octane, the less maximum power you are going to be able make. (octane = more stable gas that is less resistant to exploding)
Mom's '02 maxima gained 4mpg (she's 90% city, from 27 - 31mpg) When driven 100% highway driving, it went from 30mpg to 35mpg.
My and dad's 4.6L '99 F150 went from 17mpg to 20mpg avg. Best recorded before and after was 19mpg (with a new soft tonneau) and 24mpg after.
Acetone won't corrode, or rust any part made to handle gas so nothing to worry about.
Won't matter, but I would suggest resetting your ECU also. (Just pull the EFI fuse out for 10 seconds. It won't clear clock/radio information, and resetting the ecu's take ten seconds or less... Not 5-30 min like some dorks will tell you)

hey.. where can i find this acetone?? went on Ebay and all it shows me is nail polish remover.. or maybe i wasn't trying hard enought(that could be it).. how can i find the ratio ?? how do i reset my ECU??..

Acetone is commonly used in nail polish remover. It's a fairly bad chemical too breathe, and it is costic, so don't let it soak on the skin. You can buy the fragrence stuff at a drugstore for like $2/3 usd for 16oz bottle, a half gallon for $5/6, or a gallon for $10. The smell of nail polish doesn't matter.
Just make sure you're buying acetone that is 100% pure; it'll say so on the can.
