I am about to purchase a 98 ES300 105K miles asking price $9300, 1 owner (this will be my beater for my 2000 GS400). The car was driven by the wife, and later the daughter. They want to sell it because the daughter is in college. I haven't seen the car yet, but it sound like it is in a perfect condition except the high miles. The car is Cashmere/silver. KBB said it worths about $9500. But I want to offer $8000. Am I going to low guys?

Find out what simular vehicles are going for in your area both private & on dealer lot's. Get the highest & lowest to come to a reasonable middle ground. Every used car is different so it comes down to Condition, Condition, Condition. Obtain all maintenance records if possible as well.
