Engine Swap compatibility
Does anybody know if engine subframe of 1993 ES300 is compatible with 1999 subframe. I have a wrecked 1999 ES300 that I would like to use as a donor car. I plan to install '99 subframe with drive train on 93 ES300. The wire harness and ECU will also be replaced.
-- Does the 99 and 93 ES300 subframe mounts tin the same place? Even if engine mounts are different, the subframe mounts are probably in the same place?
-- Can anybody check if part # is the same for '93 and '99 subframes?

Are you just saying it or you know for sure? I have a guy from TOYOTANATION.COM who claims that engine subframe is identical. In fact, he swaped his engine from '92 to new engine from '98.
He claims that everything fits perfectly.
