Default **** question on ES330

Hi,

My ES330 is about 3 weeks old. Just this evening I noticed a small **** under the dash which would be above the drivers right knee. It's just below the "trac off " switch. Does anyone know what it's for? I don't recall reading about it in the owners manual.

Thanks,
Carl

That **** controls the volume of the beep that you hear when locking or unlocking the door with the remote key. It goes from no sound to maximum sound, but the maximum sound isn't very loud.

Thanks much Alan ! I was sort of hoping it was for the turn signal click as it does not appear to me to be very loud.

Thanks again,
Carl

Yes, the turn signal click is also very low.......but I guess you have to live with this slight annoyance, short of changing the flasher to an aftermarket unit which might be louder. I've forgotten to cancel out the turn signal on many occasions because of this.
