Type-IV ATF or Dextron II
I know there has been a lot of discussion on this topic, which makes me even more confused now. So only use Dextron II in a 93 ES300 or is it better to use type-IV. Dipstick calls for Dextron II. what to use? how much to buy for full transmission flush? can anyone clear this up? I read a TSB somewhere about this but cant seem to find it again.

93 es300.
i used what it called for on the dipstick, dexron II or III was fine. 3 quarts i think just for the drain and fill, not including the differental. im gonna do that later

Use whatever the owners manual suggests.......double check by calling a Lexus dealer.
Also, some places have a "tranny flushing machine" to change 100% of the fluid out as opposed to a third or half.......might be something to look into, good luck!
