should i install a performance exhaust on my lexus? does anyone here have one installed and if u do, does it sound good?

yup.. i do

i have a universal apexi muffler with custom piping.. stock cats though

you can go with a full catback if you want... greddy, apex, and i think tanabe make them

If your state doesnt have emissions testing, go header back or gut your cat and go cat back. Either way, youre going to have to get a custom exhaust.

nope.. as i said before.. greddy, apexi, and tanabe make cat back for the 1mz/mcv20 v6 camry.. which will fit to the es300 of course.. lemme see if i can find some links

heres a pic of my apexi rs muffler

Just curious hoebag.. How did you install that exhaust? Did you have someone else do it for you?

what about for a 92 es? is the only way to go custom? How much does this cost? I was thinking just for looks maybe a custom dual exhaust with a nice purr to it would be nice, nothing very loud. Has anyone done something like this?

Apexi RS.. not ricey loud.. has a nice deep tone to it

i got it welded on with mandrel bent piping.. any muffler shop can do this

gotta go custom for the 1st gen... a good muffler would be around $250 + piping and labor = roughly $350

dont do dual.. doesnt look great on the es unless you have crazy body mods imo.. ill post a pic of the dual i had later tonight
