No am/fm radio and no traffic.. help
Hi i just got a my 14 300h Luxury pkg w navigation. The radio on am and fm does not emit any sound. The sat does work (xm trial i believe). To add to my woes, the navi doesnt show any traffic info (ie red outlined roads for heavy traffic). Does this seem to be an antenna problem? I mean the xm does seem to work so not sure whats going on

Never mind.. found out I have a gen 7 which can only use XM subscription service for traffic, weather, etc. I guess the more functional question now is, how can i replace the gen7 box with a gen8 box? I'm assuming it should be a fairly easy unplug and plug?
