Default 2105 ES 350: Is it Leather

New to the forum. We have decide on an ES 350. Pricing the 2015 and 2016. Combing through the hundreds of available cars, and I cannot determine if 2015 has leather. If I'm not mistaken, on the 2016 if you see the wood console, you have a luxury package and therefore leather. Does anyone know who to tell from photos if a 2015 has leather. Thanks so much.

With the 2013-2014 ES and with the 2015-16 ES, there are visual differences that would easily be seen in a photo between the leather seats and the NuLuxe seats. The same is true with the 2016-2017 ES. However, for the 2015 ES, that is not always the case.

For the 2015 ES, Luxury package cars and Ultra Luxury package cars both have leather seats. It's easy to tell in a picture if the car has the Ultra Luxury package (semi-aniline leather). The UL cars will have, among other things, the thigh extender on the driver's seat, and seat memory controls on the passenger side door. However, if the car has the Luxury package (standard leather seats), there are no appearance differences that come to mind and that would show up in a picture between it and a non-Luxury ES with the NuLuxe seats. They would both have perforated seats, piano black console, no memory controls on the passenger door, etc.

Any way to tell by vin number what options are on the vehicle? Let's say I'm at the Infiniti dealer and he says it's leather. How would he know? Or how can I confirm?

There could be, but I have no idea what the code would be. If there is a connection, it would be somewhere in the 4th to 8th digits of the VIN.

Here is an explanation of the digits in the VIN numbers.
