Default Blacked out trunk chrome trim, thoughts?

Hey all, so I finally got around to disassembling my trunk and removing the trim and I dipped in black. Here are some before and after pics lmk what you guys think

Not a fan of the dip either. If you like it, that's what matters. But, you did ask for other's opinions.

I think it looks great. I like the little customizations you've been doing to personalize your car. Did you consider wrap instead of dipping it?

I'm wondering what impact all of these mods will have when the vehicle is presented for trade-in or returned on a lease.

They certainly wouldn't add any value, but if they can be removed cleanly prior to trade in, no effect.

It looks good, and since it's so easy to remove if you get tired if it why not try it...

All the mods I'm doing are easily removable. Nothing is permanently on. Except my mud guards.

Is it matte or glossy? I can't quite tell. I think I'd be okay with it as long as it's glossy.
