Easiest Way To Change Lexus ES350 Oil and Filter

That is a easy way but not the easiest. The easiest is to go to Walmart and buy your Mobil 1 in a five quart jug for $23. Than go to Lexus Parts World and buy your $5 oil filter. Use cl5 in promo code to get your 10% discount. Than take everything to a local Toyota dealership who will charge you $20 in labor.

I had the oil changed on my ES about a week ago at the local Toyota dealer. The charge for the oil change with the same Toyota full synthetic oil and filter that the Lexus dealer would have used was $41 with a coupon. I'm not sure that I could beat that cost by doing it myself.

I think that their normal price for anyone who walks in is about $70, but they have "loyal customer" pricing for service, and, with the loyal customer pricing, the normal price for a full synthetic oil change is $51, but the $10 coupon seems to be regularly available, and that reduced the final price to $41.

LOL, no need of jack and stands
no need of jack and stands
no need of jack and stands
Not sure many ES350 owners are gonna want to lift their cars that way. Yikes!
Just my opinion.

You might be right fetv, but I am just having a hard time envisioning Lexus ES350 owners driving their cars up onto a street curb to save a few bucks to do DIY work on their cars. Again, this is just me and my opinion - I use a floor jack and stands when doing work on my 2011 Civic - works pretty well. Our ES will go to my highly dependable Indy mechanic who charges 10 bucks if I provide the oil and filter (after the comp services are done).
