2013 ES350 Cold Air Intake Kit
I've searched all over and haven't had any luck with finding a Cold Air Intake (CAI) Kit for my 2013 ES350. I've read where someone bought a CAI Kit for the same year Cary from K&N who saI'd there weren't any issues with the install and it works great. Can anyone validate this for me? Short of taking my car into a custom shop and having a CAI built I'm not sure where to turn ... HELP!

Looks like some people have tried this. See THIS search.
My exp with cold air intake w/performance air filter, on 1995 Honda Civic Lx = no noticeable change in acceleration or MPG. However, did get large hissing sound from idle bypass port, little bit of "throaty" sound when accelerating. In about 1 month's time, I ended up taking it off the car due to the hissing sound. Anecdotally, I couldn't sell on craigs list, didn't want to bother with Ebay/shipping, recycled it at aluminum scrap yard for $20. Thank goodness I'm made of money. Your results may vary. =)

Clicking link didn't do nothing. Were you re-enforcing the point from the prior post? Maybe my computer didn't open the link correctly or something?

I agree with what you said about the actual function of an aftermarket CAI on most vehicles.

You bought a 4 door sedan which is relatively quiet, why would you want to noise it up for minimal performance improvement.
I would suggest just going with a K&N Air filter

Should be able to fit in both vehicles since they're both the same motors. I think you'll have better results searching with the Camry first. Sounds great, and has a better throttle response.
