I am using the tumi vent clip mount for an ip6. It works good. On the crazy hot days i move it to the cup holder tho. Wish there were cup holders molded into the door pockets so i could repurpose the console cup holders for the phone or other storage.

I have a 2016 ES 350.. Not sure if you guys have noticed, I didnt till a few minutes ago, the AC vent closest to the driver door has 3 horizontal plastic fins with the center one having the chrome...The other 3 vents do not have 3..ONLY 1...I was interested in this phone mount (possibly). they had 2 models with 1 being bigger than the other...In my opinion.. the center vents sit further back(inset) more than the one near the drivers door vent.... Do any of you have this holder and opinions welcome whether you have it or not .....

I think most just use the cup holder and Bluetooth to make and take calls.

Throw it up on the flat area in front of the infotainment screen. I have a leather Apple iPhone cover in dark brown that matches perfectly AND the leather doesn't slide around at all. Perfect place!

I wouldn't recommend doing that. The material that covers the dash on the ES is quite susceptible to scratching, and I would avoid putting anything on the dash surface. In the time since the 2013-2016 ES has been available, there have been a few threads on this board from people who have used the dash for "storage" and who have ended up scratching the surface of the dash.

I think it would be difficult for a leather phone case to scratch the dash, but thanks for the 'heads up' ; I'll be careful.

I usually throw the phone in the upper door pocket where you pull to close the door. If you want to constantly be able to see your phone, then this doesn't work.

I always keep mine in my pocket, if driving. Hands-free calling and Bluetooth work fine from there.

I don't have a good answer for this and I still struggle with it sometimes. Usually I just leave the phone in my pocket or in the center console for the duration of my drive, which is probably better for safety reasons.
