I have a 2016 ES 350 and was curious how the weather/traffic info works? Or is it " you have to pay/live in an area that participates?? Seems kinda useless for most people..

It's for free and it works when it find the signal.

Imo, I find Waze and Google more accurate for current traffic conditions.

guess i have no signal for anything.. it always says not available..Thought u had to have some app and subscribe to something

Weather is under the Info menu on the home/main page.

Traffic and weather info is updated through HD radio signals. So if you're in a area that doesn't support it, then you won't have the info.

My weather started to act up yesterday too it's not downloading the data.

Also having this issue. The weather in my girlfriends 2015 RC350 has been acting up the past few days. It just keeps saying downloading information or something and won't connect. Even went into the weather app and redownloaded the info manually. Didn't fix it. Anyone know what's going on?

Yeah Im getting the downloading data screen as well. The service must be down. It was working like clockwork before.

I must not live in the right area.. it always tells me its not avail...unless you need to do something other than go to the weather screen and select weather in yr area.

I think you need to be tuned into a HD radio station. I thought I saw that somewhere...
