Hi all I was wondering if anyone has a k&n cold air intake for there Es? If so can someone post a link? And if you do have it how was the installation?

For an ES Im not sure its anything more than replacing the airfilter in the car

Since the v6 Camry and Avalon engine is the same do you think the intakes for those cars would be compatible with the Es?

I have no clue.. but it looke like on their website its nothing more than a filter that takes 10 minutes to replace, looks just like the OEM air fliter..Not the air intake kind that increases HP..

Oh yea I also searched for the Es and that's what I got. But I'm lookin for the air intake that increase hp but not for the increase for a nice sound.

Cold-air intake on a ES to increase power? I think you're doing it on the wrong car. All you're going to do is increase engine/cabin noise. Maybe that's what you want?

Several years ago I bought a used Prius and noticed the engine was really loud. While checking the car out, it turns out that the air filter was replaced with a K&N. I took that junk out right away. It did nothing but made noise.

You can buy it online directly from K&N. They sell the filter for both the ES300h and ES350. It's about $55.

So your saying all I need is the filter and not the intake?

The filter will give you noise.

The intake will give you noise plus the illusion that you're going faster.

Both are a waste of money IMHO.

Ok thank you I will definitely look into it. Cause I think on the v6 Camry it's sounds pretty cool.
