Yes, they are replaceable. I've seen them on many different cars. Bodyshops replace these all the time if its an area where they have to work on.
I'm sure that they are actual Lexus parts (and likely priced much higher that you would expect). While they can be replaced, if paint work has been done on that area of the vehicle, I would think that, before those protective pieces can be replaced, some period of time, likely around 60 days, would have to pass after the paint work was done to give the new paint enough time to cure properly.
Good to know for later....I was wondering what happens if body work were needed in those areas later. Then wouldn't they have to be removed anyhow and would anyone bother to replace them then. I just find these stickers interesting since no other car I've owned have had them. Then again I've never had a Lexus But like the other person said Lexus must have had some history of problems it's prevented otherwise why would they spend the extra money placing them on their cars. As a couple of others have pointed out, the combination of the possibility of stones and other debris being kicked up by the front wheels and the fact that the area around the rear wheel wells is flared out makes that area quite vulnerable to damage. They are strategically placed, and they do serve a purpose. They may not be cosmetically pleasing to some, but they do look better than dozens of small rock chips.
Wow it just started trying that Q-tip technique JDR76 shared and it's already starting to look better! Just need to spend more time going over it a few times. Glad I found this out now for long term maintenance. Thanks everyone for sharing ideas I'll try different things and see what works best

I thought the same thing when I got my Lexus....I wondered if it were some kind of protectant that the dealer forgot to remove. Realized after looking at others on the lot that it is part of the design and will protect against rock chips.
After a few months of driving you forget all about them.
