Engine temperature... Is this normal?
I just drove the car to work this morning and noticed the temperature was bit higher than what I noticed previously. I only have a 2 mile commute so perhaps the car was only on for about 10 minutes.
I could be wrong but the temp gauge seemed to show a bit higher reading than before.
I only had the car for going on 6 weeks now and inputs would be appreciated.

Looks perfectly normal to me. Mid range is normal operating temperature. Shouldn't go above mid range however.

Also looks normal to me.

This is what mine looks like right now, after 30 minutes of driving.

Thank you all for the input.
The reason why I asked and was worried was because I was under the impression that the water pump is going bad or is bad.
And the reason I was worried about the water pump was it seems the coolant was mixed with green... Causing blockage or gel'ed up .
I'm flushing it all out today just praying water pump isn't bad.

Now not everything online is true but I have read that red and green mixed can cause pump failure because it can potentially gels up. I wasn't sure about the reading as well because I couldn't remember the normal reading. since I have so short commute of 2 miles with 3 traffic lights that I didn't know if I drive the Es for more than my usual 10 minutes the temp reading might be different. Luckily this weekend I drove 84 miles hwy... Temp was consistent.

I really don't understand the issue. Your car temp gauge is not even 1/2 way upr....

Coolant is supposed to be the factory original pink. So someone put aftermarket green coolant in your car which could cause problems in the long run. Best to get it out of there via draining the radiator and engine block and refilling with Toyota Super Long Life (pink) coolant.
