I just drove the car to work this morning and noticed the temperature was bit higher than what I noticed previously. I only have a 2 mile commute so perhaps the car was only on for about 10 minutes.
I could be wrong but the temp gauge seemed to show a bit higher reading than before.
I only had the car for going on 6 weeks now and inputs would be appreciated.
Why would you flush it out over a normal reading on a temperature gauge? Nothing is broken.
Now not everything online is true but I have read that red and green mixed can cause pump failure because it can potentially gels up. I wasn't sure about the reading as well because I couldn't remember the normal reading. since I have so short commute of 2 miles with 3 traffic lights that I didn't know if I drive the Es for more than my usual 10 minutes the temp reading might be different. Luckily this weekend I drove 84 miles hwy... Temp was consistent.

What year is your car? Since you are posting in a forum for 2013 and newer ES's would it not still be under warranty?
I really don't understand the issue. Your car temp gauge is not even 1/2 way upr....

I would wonder why you have green coolant, since Toyota factory coolant is typically red or pink. Have there been issues in the past?
Coolant is supposed to be the factory original pink. So someone put aftermarket green coolant in your car which could cause problems in the long run. Best to get it out of there via draining the radiator and engine block and refilling with Toyota Super Long Life (pink) coolant.

This information is correct. Even at this point if Ethylene and Propylene have been mixed there may be damage. Here is an article explaining why different products should not be used.
