Default Purchasing a new ES350 soon

Hello everyone. I decided to join the forums since I picked up some good advice from reading through the posts and have been doing some research on my own. I have chosen to go with an 2016 ES 350. This is after much consideration between Acura TLX, BMW 328, and Mercedes CLA 250 over the past year . Going to trade in my 2011 Camry LE. Shopped around a little bit. Looks like so far the average markdown for what people paid is about 6-7k under MSRP.

Looking at most of the dealerships around my area in So Cal. Longo Lexus, Lexus of Valencia, Lexus of Glendale, Jim Falk Lexus of Beverly Hills and Lexus Santa Monica they come with the same configurations.

I am most likely going to go with the naviagation system that has the premium package and the lexus safety system package (lane assist, blind spot monitoring, etc) It MRSPs for 44210 - Going to try and get it down to 37-38k.

So far Longo has offered the best trade in value for my Camry at 6k.

If you have any other advice or suggestions I'm open to any new information/ideas.

I'll post any updates on my end and post pics when I do purchase my ES 350!

It sounds like you're doing your homework. I would start by emailing the dealerships you listed and asking for their lowest price. Let them know you're shopping around. Then once they've given you a price you can give them the lowest quote you received and ask them if they can beat it. Some people rinse and repeat, but that's up to you.

What color combo did you decide on?

I'm going to go with the nightfall mica with the parchment interior. That color slowly grew on me and it is pretty unique.

With your deal have them throw in black mats to cover the parchment carpets. You'll be happy you did cause the parchment carpeting gets dirty just looking at it. The black mats will make it easy to live with. Enjoy!

I got my car, and it looks as good as I thought it would be. Don't worry this beauty has a nice spot in the garage. I just wanted to get some pics out in the sun. I do like the dark brown mats to go with the parchment coloring.

Thanks for the advice and help everyone!

Now think about getting the side-moldings. They both protect from door-dings and give some character to the blank sides of the car.

I just did. Had a local body shop do it. They used OEM parts, cost ~$280.
