Default Just picked up our new '16 ES (Pics)

Hey guys,

I'm from Canada and this is our first Lexus here, picked her up a couple days ago. We chose a new '16 ES 350 with the Touring Package (Canadian option) which includes most of the goodies. Nebula Grey Pearl with Flaxen interior. What a nice looking and great-driving vehicle! We are really enjoying it.

That is a beauty! Welcome to CL and GOOD LUCK with your new wheels. You'll probably have some questions so come back often and ask away.

She's a beaut. I love how the chrome just pops off that grey shade.

dang, I can't believe how much nicer 2016+ looks compared to 2013-2015. Even subtle interior changes make a huge difference. Also the front grill works on any color except black for me.

I couldn't agree more that's exactly why I waited for the 16 even though it is just a refresh it feels like a completely different car compared to the pre refresh. And to me Lexus's new grille on all of there cars looks amazing.

That's a beautiful car inside and out. I really love the NGP exterior and that Flaxen interior is a hundred times nicer than the black you see on most silver and grey cars. I hate the black as it's impossible to keep looking clean. You will enjoy your new ride.

Awesome pic's inside and out. The Flaxen interior looks incredible with the Grey outside. Can you explain the Canadian Touring Version options. It looks like the interior has piano black trim instead of wood accents including the steering wheel but a great contrast.

You can see the Canadian packages on their website: LINK

It looks like they're offering about 10% off at the moment, before any negotiations!

I'm really glad I waited for the 2016. I was trying to convince myself to save a chunk of money by going with pre-owned in the 2013-15 category, but when I see those vehicles drive around they don't even look like luxury cars to me. They kind of blend in with everything else. I love the aggressive look with the comfort feel. My Flaxen interior is also growing on me. It certainly gets compliments.

Very nice, love the flaxen, I miss it from my GS.

The 16 is a huge upgrade from the 13-15. Had the 16 been the car that came out in 2013, I wouldn't have upgraded to the GS.

Thanks for all the great comments guys. Picking the colours did take some debating, but I agree with the points mentioned here already: I wanted the chrome to stand out in a subtle way, white doesn't do that and black makes the chrome pop a little too much. This 'gun metal' grey was a great choice - need I mention that it goes great with the wheels too?

Interior was a no-brainer, the coffee brown/flaxen combo was excellent, more pleasant than the black interiors I was previously used to.

Although someone already linked it previously, the Canadian Touring included just about every usable option for us, the next and last level up included the very new fancier features such as lane departure, radar CC, pre-collision, etc. And it is the wood accented trim, not the piano black (hard to see in pics).
