Suspension Upgrade
I'm interesting in upgrading the ES300h's rear anti-roll bar with this one made for the Camry by Progress:
http://www.progressauto.com/news/32
Does anyone know if these will fit our cars? I tried to do a part # search online between the Camry and the Avalon and they both appear to share the same anti-roll bar. So if this one by Progress is made for the Camry, I'm guessing there's a good chance that it will fit the ES300h.
Can anyone share any info? What are your experiences using Camry/Avalon suspension parts on the ES?
Thanks.

I installed the Progress Bar today and it does indeed fit the ES300h.
The car is a lot more neutral and balanced. The car feels very flat during sweeping turns where as the stock setup seemed to "plow" into the turns because it is nose heavy. Side to side lean is also greatly reduced. I only had about 10 miles of driving since the install and haven't really experienced any negatives. The bar does not seem to impact the ride quality.
The bar is $182 from Progress. Use promo code "20BUCKS" for $20 off. Your mechanic will likely charge 1.5 - 2.0 hours of install time for the labor.
Yes, I know the ES is not a sports-car and this bar is not intended to make it that. It's just meant to neutral out the oversteer and makes the car a bit more balanced and enjoyable to drive.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

How is the drive now? I am glad you posted this review. I have been wanting a rear sway since I moved from my '14 IS350 F Sport.

Would this only benefit the hybrid due to the extra weight or would it fit a regular es350?. Btw congrats and well done on doing the "unthinkable" (upgrading the es)

It drives great. As I had indicated, the car is more neutral and balanced. It is not a performance upgrade in the sense that you do this to take faster turns. I think we all know this isn't the car for that. However, if you simply just want the car to drive better, this is it.
