Electrical Power Source
I have two devices that I want to tap into my 2014 ES.
1) I bought a radar detector bracket that mounts to the rear view mirror. Does anyone know how to tap into the power of the mirror? I want to tap into the power so the radar cable is nicely routed up and away than down into the cigarette lighter in the center console.
2) I purchased a ProClip smartphone holder that charges the phone. what would be the best way to tap into the cars power under the dash?

Thanks for pointing out that older link for a power source in the rearview mirror! I was about to set aside some weekend time to wire a Valentine V1 down the A-pillar and all that stuff and adding to that, our only power socket is in the center console!
Just ordered an Invisicord so I can install this quickly!

Invisicord came in yesterday. So I popped off the rearview mirror cover, just stuck in the 2 wires from the invisicord and the Valentine V1 is already powered. Literally took less than 5 minutes to do everything!
Ready to monitor these end of the month speed traps tomorrow!
