On my 2015 ES350, when I receive a text message on my iPhone a message notification will be displayed on the dash and I can play the message content over the speakers in the car....but here's my question...while I am able to receive and "play" text message content via my entertainment system, I can't find a way to send text messages via the entertainment system...am I missing something?

No, I have the same experience. I believe it is an Apple issue. Anyone else have more to offer on this topic?

I think it's an iPhone thing. Android has the ability to reply with preset messages.

yeah apple doesn't allow this functionality.

i found using the Siri Eyes Free feature a better way to handle text messages. To start it, have the "Hey Siri" feature enabled on your iPhone or just hold the phone button down on your steering wheel for a few seconds to engage it.

yes its so easy to send text like mhobizal said hold down the hangup phone button for 3 sec and siri is there just say send text to who and she does a great job also she can call anyone in you contacts
