Drivers seat moves back when I turn off the vehicle
I have a 2013 Lexus ES 350 with navigation. Is it possible to stop the drivers seat from moving back when I turn the car on? It also moves forward to the position I had it when I start the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, it can be disabled using the settings menu.

I have a 2015 ES350 and I changed my seat setting to "partial" so while making it easier for me to exit and enter the car it was not so far back that it was awkward (which it sound like what you've been experiencing). This car has more little "bells and whistles" on it that it will be a while before I figure it all out (I have little patience for sitting and reading the "War and Peace" owners manual cover to cover).

I've been experimenting with my seating system and today I turned the automatic seat from "partial" to "off" and found that while the seat itself does not move back when the engine is turned off...the steering wheel does raise and withdraw for ease of entry and exit...I believe I'm really going to like that "set up" the best of all the options. Now I need to "fine tune" my perfect seating position and put it permanently into the seat memory system.

Not an option, standard on most if not all Lexus models now.

Advanced class on Easy Entry Seat... after setting the seat/wheel/mirrors and memorizing
them by holding the door buttons "Set + 1" you can now link the button to a key fob. To do
this you just make sure there is only one of the keys in the car, press and hold "1" and then
press and hold the inside door "unlock" button until you hear a chirp. Now when you touch
the outside door handle of a locked car it will both open and move to the prescribed position!
Repeat for key and position #2.
If the driver is very petite you may find that the memorized position is way to close to actually
get in and out comfortably. To undo the steps above...one key inside, press and hold "1" and
then press and hold "set" until you hear the chirp. Unlinked!
Note: some models and years other than ES works slightly differently, LS's you turn off the car,
older ES's you hold "1" and press and hold unlock on the fob rather than the door.
