Is the chrome trim on the ES metal or plastic? Chrome metal would probably affected by the elements like ss, but plastic wouldn't. I also would be concerned whether the chrome would match the ss.

The chrome trim on the ES is metal around the windows, plastic everywhere else. Same for all Lexus vehicles.
Not sure about the trunk trim...look forward to seeing pictures.
