Lexus is (apparently) not going to offer black leather interior on a matador red mica exterior for 2016. Did anyone else notice that, and why would they do that?

The availability of different interior and exterior color combinations, as well as package choices and options, varies from time to time during the model year depending on what combinations the production line is currently set up to build. Just because a color combination is not available right now does not mean that it won't be available 3 months from now or 6 months from now.

If Lexus was not going to build any black interiors than I could agree with your comment. Red with a black interior is the most common combination in the car industry and if Lexus is actually not offering this combo then I feel a mistake is being made!

In Canada the only interior choice for 2016 for ES 300 or 350 with the matador red exterior is flaxen.

No black, no parchment.

I rather like my 2015 Red ES with the parchment interior and if the only choice for 2015 had have been flaxen,I would not have purchased it.
