Default Is there a clutch in the 300h HSD?

The description of the HSD in YouTube shows a clutch. Is there one in the ES300h? Some threads suggest that the version in the ES does not have one.

AFAIK no. The Camry Hybrid uses a similar drivetrain and there are no clutches in there, unlike the Accord Hybrid and Chevy Volt. The engine and motors are hooked up to the planetary gear set and power split is determined by the rotation of all the system gears. Not having a clutch is one less part for wear and tear.
