Default ES350 Fit and Finish Issue

I have a 2013 Lexus ES350 and the left edge of the rear bumper keep pops open during the hot summer days. The first time I saw this gap between my bumper and the frame I thought someone has hit my car's bumper. After close inspection, the bumper is smooth as butter just like the first day I brought the car home. I took the car last Saturday to a Lexus dealer for an inspection. The service guy told me there is nothing he can do and maybe bring the car back on a weekday so their diagnostic guy can take a look. Anyone with 2013 or newer ES350 owner has the same issue? Do you guys think a body shop is a better option than the dealer? Kind of disappointing with Lexus...both car and dealership

Thank you for your reply and part numbers. My bumper doesn't click when I push back but pops out all the time when hot which annoyed the hell outta me. I will print your message and take it to my dealer. :

Is this a major fix or an easy fix? does your dealer has to take out the whole bumper skin to install the parts or they can reach behind the bumper to replace the parts? I am hoping the entire bumper skin does not come off and cause other separation issues with the bumper and the frame.

I suspect those may be clips, and yes they probably need to remove the cover to replace the clips so the cover will stay tight.

That's bad on the dealer or SA to have them treat you like that. Maybe the SA meant their diagnostic guy was their body shop that would determine what's needed to be done. But go back during the week so the right tech can look at the gap so the cover can be repaired properly.

My front bumper does this under the headlight. I replaced both clips and it still occasionally pops out in high heat. It doens't help that we've been having a heat wave this week, but cars shouldn't be so sensitive to hot days that they start falling apart.

It's not a great fix, but I ran a bead of clear silicone inside one of the clips with the bumper off, and when I put it back on it never happened again. Well, yet.

Same issue on the right side rear bumper of my 2015. Heat swells it and it goes back in place when things cool down. Dealer claims normal but I'm still not satisfied. Think I'll reference @320pilot next time I'm in for service. Also happened on my previous 2013 Accord EXL V6. Had a body shop apply something called Panel Bond and it never moved again. They advised it would be hell to remove bumper cover if it ever became necessary but it could be done.
