My dealer is swamped as well, that's why I had to wait until Monday. I know I'll get the same result. My argument is the RX doesn't do it.
That's the part that I cannot figure out either. I was tied up with work so my wife brought it in (it is her car). If I decide to bring it in again I'll be there to check it out with them. It's really not that bad but when you are in a quiet location it is annoying. Especially since my '08 did not do this. It's really more of a hum than a vibration.

There is no vibration at all on my ES when stopped. I hear some fan noise from the seat coolers if they are on (and obviously the AC or heater), but not a jot of vibration.

As one might expect my ES was purring like a kitten this morning at the dealer. My SA thought maybe some bad gas could be the culprit but I don't think so.
He told me to bring it back if it happens again.
It will.

Yep! Somehow they seem to know when you bring them to the doctor. All of a sudden they get better!

I hate it when that happens (or not happens) with intermittent problems. Electrical problems are the worst, and always seem to be fine when you bring it in.

Personally, I don't think it's the fuel and you'll probably forget about it .

If the engine has any problem in the ignition or fuel system that would cause a misfire, the ECU should record a "code". Every dealer, and almost every independent mechanic, and most auto-parts stores, has an ODB2 Code Reader, and can read that code from the computer...

The nice thing about ODB2 codes is, they don't go away right away. If the engine has a problem, the code stays in the computer for at least a few days.

Absent a code, the engine is very likely working exactly like it should.

I am new to Lexus, but have been working and maintaining my cars for many years. The more accessories that you have on/ working the more load that it puts on the engine. In the old days
we would increase the idle about 50-100 RPM for a problem such as this.. Its not so easy to change the base idle these days. If it continues to be problematic ,I would ask the service tech to increase the base idle
by 50-100 RPM. That should help with the rough idle.
