So what price would you start off with on the negotiations?
Local Lex dealer has a 13 ES 300h with 47k miles, priced @ 33.9k.
I'm seeing ones with the exact same options and far less miles at other Lexus dealers for less.
For example, Lexus of Manhattan has a 2013 with 9k miles @ 30.9k. While I don't want to fly to NYC for a Hybrid, I'm thinking about this:
Hit the dealer up with 27k to start. Thoughts?

Need more specifics, as a base 300h starts about $12k less than a fully loaded UL.
Edit: I see you said same options. What are they?

Well here's the two cars:
Local to me:

NY car:
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...stingId=0&mmt=[LEXUS[ES300H[]][]]&listingId=338444893&Log=0
Both are red/black 2013's with NAV, and neither have the ML stereo or radar cruise. To my eyes they seem identical save the price and mileage - but you guys know far more than I do about what to look for.

Also, both are certified. Ignore the title of the NYC car; the pictures show 9k miles not 5k.
But still - there's enough of a price difference to hop on a bird and drive it back.

Can't see the NY car (link is broken). Just looking at the one for $34k, I'd say that's way too high for that mileage. I'm not sure $27k is a fair offer, but you never know. At least you're focused on the best color choice!

Lastly, what's weird is when you run the carfax on the NY car, it says "subtract from retail price". One would think I'd want to ADD because of the uber-low miles.

The NY car looks like it was a demo. Also, it's a base model w/o even nav. It probably sold new for around $37k.

Crap you're right. It even says cloth seats! I thought all ES cars had leather. I have a lot to learn.
Regardless, I've driven the 47k 2013 car quite a bit and looked it over. What should I hit him with this morning? I def. want to be under 30k for this car all dealer fees included.

Well, here's a 2013 with NAV (now that you've taught me what to look for) with ~4k miles less than the local car; asking price is $29, 997.

I would try $28k, but it's CPO and they just offered it for sale on the 1st. They may not be willing to budge that much, this early. You never know, though.
