Anyone else annoyed by the wheezing noise on his 2014 ES300H? It only happens when I let go off the gas pedal or breaking. Is there a way to rid of it?

It could be your regenerative brakes, which is standard on the 300h. It's more of a whirl sound.

Whirl or wheezing, it's pretty annoying, especially if no music playing in the car..

Think of it as the sound of money being pumped back into your gas tank.
And, if it still annoys you, turn on some music.

I don't know if it's because of winter or components being broken in, but I'm getting a slightly louder, harsher whine from the motors when coasting or accelerating gently. It can be a bit grating because the rest of the car is so quiet. The usual "whoooosh" during regen braking is still there and doesn't bother me.
