How does the plastidip affect the two sensors? Does it still work properly or did it weaken the sensors? I have a clear bra installed and it does not cover the sensors. I hope this does not void the warranty.

Did you plastidip the lower grill too?

Default Plasti Dip Grill

Looks great! I have always been a fan of Plasti Dip. If you know how to use it properly you can make it look just as good as an expensive paint job IMO.

I just did the outer edge of my grill on my 07 IS250 this morning. It only takes an hour or 2 depending on how long it takes to dry. I opened the hood and removed the plastic cover along the front of the car covering the grill. Then i just stuck some cardboard behind there to catch overspray. Left the grill right on the car and it turned out great. Its cheap and quick and looks great.

If youre not familiar with plasti dip, look up youtube videos on how to dip things using a tape edge to peel. (i.e. a video of someone dipping an emblem) and use the same technique on your grill whether you are doing the whole thing or just the chrome edge.

See attached photos. I want to see more Lexus owners doing this! It looks great and I think most owners are too afraid to use a cheap product on their car lol

Plastidip has a long wear especially if you pair it with a glossifier I did 4 coats and 3 coats of glossifier still looks very good nice and dark.
