How to remove over head console in 2013 Lexus ES350?

I know that I should probably just pull it down from the front or back, but I want to be sure ..

Does anybody know?

If your car is still under warranty, I would let the dealer look at it.

She is under warranty but I will have more fun and it will make me happier when I do it on my own...

I had tried to pull it down, but it was so tight, I was afraid that I would break it. I was looking for a switched power and ground to wire up my radar detector.

If that is what you are looking for, see my write up at

I think something, sometimes is making a tiny noise above the overhead console that's why I want to remove it and check.. but without being sure how to do it I don't want to do it because I don't want to break it.
It looks like it can be the same like in Avalon.. just pull it all the way down.. but is it the same in 2013 Lexus 350ES?

I have that rattle too on the corner overhead console. Based on the statement above to just simply pull. I did it using a nylon pry bar tool. Yank it down and the whole thing would drop.

It seems that the wiring harness tape is binding with the chassis.

One would think that the wiring tape is supposed to suppress noise. Stranger things has happened.

On some areas you see wiring harness is next to the chassis they are wrapped with foam. The left wiring harness between the metal chassis and plastic bracket.

Just 4 clips to remove it but you have to yank it really hard to take it out.
