Hi all ! In my attempts to get good MPG (Avg 37.5) on my 2013 ES 300h, I drive in the "economy" mode and try not to ever accelerate hard from a stop. I've noticed lately that I am getting a slight pinging when I accelerate from a stop going up a hill. Is that the "sound of economy" I am hearing? I use Costco regular and service the car regularly (in fact I've changed the oil twice already in the 15K I've owned it Just wondering if any other es300h owners are experiencing similar problems. Maybe I should try drive in Normal or Power mode to see if it changes..?

No ping in Eco mode, and I use Costco regular too. Might try other modes, but I don't think it will make a difference. Maybe a bad batch of gas.
