300H problem: As I was coming to a stop at a building's exit, I saw a pedestrian walking across (not on a crosswalk) and looking the other way, oblivious to my oncoming vehicle. I stopped way before I reached the stop sign, and I could tell that the lady, still unaware, would bump into my car. So I honked; just a short and gentle honk as if to say "hey a car is here". She got startled as she turned her head and she bumped into my vehicle. The lady got mad, and gave me the stare.

No one was hurt.

You've gotta wonder why it's usually the person who causes the situation who gives the stare and is upset with the person who tries to eliminate the problem.
