Default Suspension differences of ES 350 between: 2014 and 2010 models?

I am planing a new purchase of ES 350 2014 with 17'' rims. Main thing for me is the comfortable ride and softness of the suspension.
So, what are the suspension differences of ES 350 between: 2014 and 2010 models?
Which generation of ES is having softer ride? current gen or previous?

Thanks for helping to sort this out.

Lot of people says that the older generation have a softer ride compared to the new one who have a better handling and is less "floating" above the road.

There is many post about this and even CR say the same in their review.

But why not doing a road test?

While I've read the reports by some that say that the 2013 or 2014 ES has a firmer ride than did previous ES versions, I'd say that the ride of my 2013 ES is very similar to that of the 2006 ES that I previously owned. I think that some who perceive that the current ES has a firmer ride than did previous generations of the ES are comparing an older ES with 16 inch or 17 wheels and higher profile standard tires to a 2013 or 2014 ES with 18 inch wheels and lower profile tires. Also, the recommended tire pressure for the 2013 or 2014 ES is 33 psi, and the recommended pressure for previous ES versions was anywhere from 29 to 31 psi. I suspect that, if you compared a 2013 or 2014 ES to an older ES and put the same size wheels and tires on both and inflated the tires on both to the same pressure, there would little, if any, difference in perceived ride quality. What I do see as a difference between my 2013 ES and the older ES is that the 2013 has noticeably surer and more nimble handling.

As Amph suggested, take a test drive and see for yourself.
