Default Question for 2014 ES folks with No Front License Plate

I just purchased a new ES300h with no front license plate bracket. This was on purpose!

I noticed there are some small indentions where the screws for the plate would go into. Does everyone have these?

You live in Texas you have to run a front plate

I did that in Missouri with a Austin Martin, too pretty for the ugly front plate. Cops in Texas at least where I live like to screw with people for the smallest reason. I've talked to people that got stopped for just having their license plate frame cover a small part of the word TEXAS. I have my Marine Corp Semper Fi frame on both my vehicles the Semper Fi covers the top of the word Texas, but any cop can still tell in a glance that it's Texas. If I ever get stopped and they complain or want to give me a ticket I will give them some Shat about picking on Vets that served their country. I would enjoy busting the local cops in the paper for something like this, but I doubt it would ever happen

I guess you guys in So Cal have it better. In No Cal, they'll give you a fix-it ticket so they can catch you on the Red Light cameras and the toll booths

Breakin the law breaking the law! HA

I have mine in the trunk. I was wondering if I get a fix it ticket - can I use zip ties and attach the plate and then take it off when it's signed off on? One of my facebook friends had offered that as a suggestion....

You can put it on the dash but if you get in a accident it might take your head off.

I know I feel so criminal.. lol
My kid got a fix it ticket on his car for no front plate so he used double sided tape to stick the plate on paid the court $25 bucks and got the ticket signed off and then promptly took the front plate back off..

The Revenuers will catch up with you, so look over your shoulder, or was that at the front?

I wish they would catch up with all the drivers with paper plates so old they're faded yellow and barely legible (at least here in TX).
