ES vs Avalon

I've driven Avalons a few times as loaners from the Toyota dealer. When I have, it has been immediately noticeable to me that the Avalon does not isolate the cabin from road, wind, and engine noise as well as does the ES. But, for me, the real deal breaker for the Avalon is the use of plastic fake wood trim on the interior of the vehicle. I'm not a fan of fake wood on any vehicle, but I find it to be completely unacceptable on a $40,000+ vehicle.

I went from a '09 ES350 to a '13 Avalon Limited. Big mistake. At the time I ran away from Lexus because of the new mouse-like controller for the NAV. I dumped the Avalon after 13 months.
The Avalon had the worst ride of any newer car I have been in. The noise from road irregularities and the jostling in the car from bumps and expansion joints was too much for me. I lowered the tire pressure 3 psi from factory recommended and that made a very slight difference but not enough for me to keep the car. There were also many other minor complaints (uncomfortable drivers seat, etc) but none of them would have kept me from buying the car again.
I bought a '14 Lexus RX350 (my wife traded in her '04 RX330 for a sedan and we needed a SUV) and traded in the Avalon. Now that I have that mouse like controller I have nothing but praises for it and I'm so happy to be in another Lexus.
The RX350 rides so much quieter and smoother than the '13 Avalon it's unbelievable.

Used 2013 E 300H 22,000 miles- vs: 2014 Avalon XLE Hybrid $31,000
I received a quote of $38,800 for a 2013 E300H with 22,000 miles. It seems way off. It's the final days of June and the end of the second quarter. I'd be hard stretched to offer $33,000 for the Lexus. What's your opinion?
