I bought a new ES 350 2013 in Dec 2012. In Feb 2013 one morning the car did not start and I had to call road side assitance who jump started the car. Took it to the dealer and he said that the battery was bad and changed it. Not sure how a 2 month old car had a bad battery. Anyway did not probe further.

Again this morning, the same thing happened and the guy came and jump started. This time took it to the dealer and he is having it there for some test as the initial test on the battery came out good.

Has anyone seen any problem like this. It has 9500 miles on it. Everything else seems to be fine.

I have not had the issue with my 2013 ES300h but the 12 volt battery in my 2010 HS250h failed after a year, the dealer came to my office and replaced it at no charge. I think that sometimes you just get a bad internal cell or an internal connection fails within the battery.
