Default To drop or not to drop????

So I am new to Lexus but every car I get I add bigger wheels. I was going to with 19's since that is what I had last time I owned a FWD car but since this car is big enough, I am going to do the 20's. They are on order and now I need to decide if I am going to drop it or not. I have never done a drop so will it compromise the ride? Any more than the 20's already do? Can I buy the kit form the dealership? Will it effect my warranty?

I appreciate the help.

Good questions for your Lexus dealer as I imagine your warranty will be affected.

I'm not sure if any reputable company makes lowering springs, but that would be the way to go if you don't want the ride quality to change. Coil-overs will most likely be stiffer but most are adjustable.

If I were you, I'd get the wheels installed first, and then see if you still want to lower it.

Congrats. Looks good. I agree, doesn't need to be lowered. I'm not a fan of the slammed look. Especially on larger cars.

I have the same wheel size that you have and think the vehicle would look much sportier with just a 1 - 1.5" drop. Nothing too drastic...not a slammed look...more of a sporty squat look. However, I am still looking for someone that makes an adjustable coilover setup for our car. So until this I will will be satisfied with the stock stance.
