It surprises me that there are not more votes for black, and that the red votes exceed the black 5 to 2. On the MDX forum I follow the most popular color seems to be split between black and white. I am the other Satin Cashmere vote. We generally go for light colors and since my MDX is white (Aspen White Pearl in Acura jargon) and my wife's last car was silver, she selected the Satin Cashmere.

I was unsure of the red myself, I wanted to see one in person but none of the local dealers had one in stock. I saw one a week or so ago in red and it was surprisingly sharp looking. I was impressed at how good the car looks in red.

When buying, I had the (on the lot) choice of the Starfire Pearl, Nebula Gray, or Red.
Normally, I wouldn't choose red but the Lexus red is a nice deep dark red. I made up my mind in an instant.
Personally, if I didn't get the red, I'd probably get the blue. Don't see many of those and it looks really sharp to me.

We did not even consider Matador red until we saw one on the lot with black interior. It was love at first sight. We are patiently waiting for the 2014 models but the color has already been decided.

i have fire agate pearl myself and i told myself i would leave the dealership with any other color. i love the way the color transitions from day to night. at one point of the day your car would look like a nice purple brown then at night it looks like a purple.
