I have the "Premium audio package", but it is not ML, but I do live in Socal, I wouldn't think location would matter based on sound quality though.

I'm starting to think highly compressed audio sounds worse on the ML than the others. I would think they use the same XM receiver on all the models.

No, I don't have the ML thank goodness. I had ML in my IS-F, but it was not worth the extra cost in my opinion. It just didn't sound good to me at all.

And from what we're hearing, not worth it in the ES either.

That's debatable. I wouldn't trade mine for anything. I can live without XM. Everything else sounds pretty awesome through it.

I am happy with the ML, love all the speakers. Probably for most it is a good sound system. Just doesn't have enough bass for me. My SUV had 2-12" woofers so that was a bit of a downgrade. I will just have to add a 12" sub eventually.

Default Pandora sound quality

Question: anyone compared the sound quality of Pandora on your cellphone connected by Bluetooth to the ES350, as compared to the Enform Pandora app sound?
Anyone know which cellphone towers Enform uses...AT&T or Verizon?

Since you need the app on your phone, it's whoever your service provider is.

txes is correct. The car has no cell service on its own, it links through your phone.

I've only listened to Pandora through Enform, but I doubt the sound quality would be any different. The biggest factor in the quality of the audio, would be your cell's data connection. If you have an LTE phone with good LTE coverage, it would be optimal. 3G (UMTS) would probably work fine, too. It's once you get below that is when the quality will suffer the most.

This might be a dumb question, but how is everyone streaming through BT? I connected my phone to the car and tried to play music from my phone and I couldn't do it. What am I missing?

Does it show being connected as a portable player? Your phone should show 2 BT connections. 1 for the phone and the other for the media player.

Only shows one connection but within that it has two, one for media and other for phone. On the Lexus Screen, the BT button is greyed out.

Might want to ask in the IS forum. I'm not sure our 2 systems are alike.
