I think the fog lights are useless. You cannot turn them on by it self or with DRL. You can only use it with the head lights on. But when the head lights are on you can barely see the difference because the headlights are already bright enough to see everything.

What do you guys think? May be upgrade the fog lights bulb to HID with same color temperature as the DRL.

Every bit of light helps...I think it does add form and function...though aesthetic wise...it isn't as noticeable or exciting. Depending on your taste of fog color...most would have the Yellow Tint Film over the lens to give it that 3,000k look to contrast with HID. But if you can I would definitely go HID 3k Bulbs for the Fogs or your own color choice.

I have them on all the time [when my headlights are on]. I think they make the car look nicer at night.

I feel they're pretty much useless and I really don't need the fogs to be better.If I need more light,I use the brights.
I have went with VLEDS 5K LEDs in my fogs in my GS and last few Lexus vehicles for a very nice close color match to the HIDs.

I find they light up the side of the road better then just the HID's...So, YES, I like them

I may change mines with the Vleds or HIDs some here have posted. HIDs are half the price, but requires the ballast and some other installation, where the Vleds looks like plug and play.

fogs do shine the side of the road a lot better and they look great i have both my low beams andfogs at 5k

I refuse to install HID's in my fogs. I hate, HATE when people drive around with HID's in halogen housings. They do quite a nice job blinding the hell out of me. I just noticed one of the factory fog bulbs just went out last night. I may take the car in or replace with a 6k bulb or the Vleds.

Xpcgamer, I tried installing aftermarket halogen bulbs with no success due to that super tight opening in the fog lamp housing that only fits the factory halogen bulbs(19W). Please let me know if you can find some halogen bulbs will fit in that particular housing. Thanks.

I even tried installing the factory H11 55W bulbs of 13' GS350 at the dealer this morning but they still don't fit in like those 19W bulbs do !!!!!!!!!

i love my fogs and if you dont like it deal with it hahaha its my car but on another note the h11 bulbs i got from hidextra fits perfectly takes a little wiggling around but it fits just like the oem
